This piece of wood was the inspiration for this Lamp.
The wood- is a reclaimed Timber, from an old, industrial building- salvaged and sold by a very special Lumberyard outside of Chicago.
The ancient timbers were felled, & used to build structures that spawned early manufacturing entities around Chicago.
How appropriate , then- that I am making something from - a thing that helped make other things.....
